India-based pharma company Hetero on Sunday announced it has received both manufacturing and marketing approval for the investigational antiviral drug Remdesivir, from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) to treat Covid-19 patients. Regarding the final year students in the professional courses including MBA and LLB, Higher education minister Uday Samant said the state is currently is in consultation with regulatory bodies like AICTE, Bar Council of India and Council of Architecture to reach a decision. (PTI) The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) received intermittent spells of intense showers through Thursday morning -- four days after the onset of the  south-west monsoon  in the city and its suburbs. The suburbs recorded 19.4 millimetres (mm) of rainfall between 8.30am and 2.30pm, south Mumbai (8.4 mm) and Thane (40 mm). A location-wise rainfall over the six hours showed most parts of the eastern suburbs recorded maximum rain ranging between 35 and 40 mm. Final Year University Semester Exams 2020 Cancelled!!!! Final Year University Semester Exams 2020 Cancelled.  It has been officially announced that the semester exams for final year students studying in all universities in Puducherry will be canceled. Arrangements have been made to provide the students with an alternative path. Education institutions postponed the selections as all educational institutions were closed due to the spread of coronavirus throughout the country. Moreover, the coronavirus day by day increased the number of choices and canceled announcements. Last week, the government issued a cancellation of all school exams, such as 10th and 11th grade, in order to minimize the impact of the coronavirus in Puducherry. The college students also demanded that the government cancel their exams.
